Real Madrid have reportedly set their asking price for Eden Hazard as they prepare to cut their losses on the Belgium winger - and here are the three most likely Premier League sides he could join

Eden Hazard finds himself heavily linked with a Real Madrid exit - just two years after joining from Chelsea in the most expensive transfer of 2019.

The Belgian ace moved to the Santiago Bernabeu for a fee which could exceed £150million after a stunning seven-year spell with the Blues.

But his time with Real Madrid has been nothing short of a nightmare and he has managed just five goals in his first two seasons with the club.

Hazard's progress in the Spanish capital has been crippled by injuries and, at the age of 30, time is running out for him to replicate his best form.

With three years remaining on his contract and his market value only going in one direction, Real Madrid chiefs may decide to cut their losses by selling Hazard this summer.

A return to Chelsea has been rumoured, but there are two other Premier League clubs who could provide Hazard with a chance to revive his career.

Chelsea

Chelsea paid £32million to sign a 21-year-old Hazard from Lille in 2012 in what proved to be one of their finest transfers of the Premier League era.

The gifted left-winger would go on to score 110 goals and lay on 92 assists for the Blues, winning two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, the FA Cup and the League Cup.

Chelsea fans were understanding when Hazard decided to join Real Madrid two years ago and would likely welcome back their club legend if presented with the opportunity.

Manchester United

Chelsea fans would be less understanding, however, if Hazard were to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Nonetheless, the Red Devils are keen to strengthen their options on the wing this summer and may choose to capitalise if Real Madrid set an attractive asking price for the Belgian.

Spanish outlet El Chiringuito claims Los Blancos have already decided on their price tag for Hazard and will listen to offers in the region of £43million.

Which club should Eden Hazard join if he leaves Real Madrid this summer?

Tottenham Hotspur

If a move to Old Trafford would upset Chelsea fans, they would be even more aggrieved if Hazard chose to join bitter rivals Tottenham.

But, like United, Spurs appear likely to target a new winger this summer due to the uncertainty surrounding Gareth Bale.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane's potential departure would hand Spurs a hefty war chest to invest in the summer transfer window, which could pave the way for a swoop for Hazard.

Real Madrid's stance

Hazard has done little to endear himself to Real Madrid fans this season with just 11 starts in all competitions and a controversial exchange with Kurt Zouma after his side crashed out of the Champions League earlier this month.

But Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane insists the Belgium international still has the talent to come good for his side.

"So far we haven't been able to see the Eden Hazard that people want to see," said Zidane. "I think he will get through this.

"It's a complicated moment, but he has a contract and he wants to succeed here. I hope that soon he'll show what he is as a player."
