The former Crystal Palace right-back enjoyed a solid season for Man Utd as they finished second in the Premier League.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka named scoring his first ever senior goal as his favourite Manchester United moment of the season.

As the dust settles on the 2020/21 campaign, it has been seen largely as a season of progress for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side after their second place Premier League finish. Although United couldn't end their four-year trophy drought and lost on penalties in the Europa League final in a heart-breaking end to the season, there were many positive aspects.

Wan-Bissaka picked out the performances of Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes — who were both recipients of awards at the end of the season — as highlights.

He also told United's official website why he enjoyed his goal against Newcastle so much. The full-back scored his second senior goal later in the campaign, in the 9-0 drubbing of Southampton.

Assessing his own personal season, Wan-Bissaka said: “I feel I've done okay. I can feel it in myself, the confidence and excitement of when every game comes up. You want to play, you can’t wait to get the game started. You know what the team’s capable of, the performances we can all put together to get the result we want.”

“My goal was a good feeling. I’ll never forget that. That’s the good moment out of this campaign, for me.”

Wan-Bissaka also revealed he voted for Shaw for the club's players' player of the season award, though gave credit to plenty in Solskjaer's side for their displays.

He added: “I gave mine [vote] to Luke but I think Bruno is up there as well. Luke has been the stand-out for me. His performances, that pushes me as well, to compete with him to get the best out of all of us.

“He’s been positive throughout, making the most out of every game. He’s not taken his foot off the pedal, he’s kept going, pushed himself until the whistle goes. That’s good. He helps the team as well.”
