Manchester United transfer news LIVE Jadon Sancho to Man Utd news and Sergio Ramos latest

Stay tuned for the latest Man United transfer rumours and breaking news ahead of England's Euro 2020 game against Scotland.

England play their second game of this summer's European Championship against Scotland on Friday.

The Three Lions got off to the perfect start against Croatia last week thanks to Raheem Sterling's matchwinner and Marcus Rashford was the only Manchester United player to feature in that clash, with Dean Henderson and Luke Shaw unused from the bench.

Goalkeeper Henderson, however, has now withdrawn from the England squad through injury.

Regarding transfer news, the MEN revealed United's stance on Jesse Lingard's future yesterday with the former West Ham loanee not expected to hold talks on his United future until he returns for pre-season training next month.

Elsewhere, Italian reports have suggested Diogo Dalot wants to play for AC Milan next season after his loan spell in Serie A.

In terms of incomings, United are still keen on a deal for Jadon Sancho, as well as Real Madrid's Raphael Varane.

What Maguire said about injury

The United captain has declared himself fit and available to face Scotland in England's second Euro 2020 group match tomorrow night.

"I feel good. I'm back available, been training and I'm looking forward to it.

"Obviously the injury was a setback club football wise. Internationally I wanted to come into this with a lot of games under my belt with full fitness.

"I've done a few sessions now and feel like my fitness is there, so I'm available for the game."

United make bid for Varane

Manchester United have made a £50million offer for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane but the Spanish club is holding out for £80m.

United remain in dialogue with Madrid and will seek a compromise over the fee, but are reluctant to meet Madrid's £80m valuation as Varane is out of contract next year.

Madrid are prepared to sell Varane, 28, to United and have already offset his possible departure by signing auxiliary centre-back David Alaba from Bayern Munich on a free transfer.

Sergio Ramos is leaving Madrid after 16 years but the club has debts of €901m and president Florentino Perez has stressed they are unable to finance any marquee moves this summer.

Several clubs are prepared to move for Varane only when his contract expires next year but Perez is intent on obtaining a fee.

OPINION: Pogba has told United what he needs to sign a new contract

The mood at breakfast at Clairefontaine would have been jovial after France won their opening game of the European Championship.

Widely regarded by most as the favourites for this summer's tournament, France lived up their lofty billing and started in style against Germany on Tuesday night, delivering a strong performance at the Allianz Arena to win 1-0 on the host's very own, home soil.

Although there were no signs of tension between France's players on the pitch in Germany, reports have claimed Didier Deschamps is maintaining the peace between his players, interestingly devising a seating plan in the dining area to prevent cliques and unease.

Pogba is entering the final year of his contract at United.

Diogo Dalot 'makes AC Milan transfer decision'

Diogo Dalot has decided he wants to remain with AC Milan following his season on loan at the club, TuttoMercatoWeb state.

It has been reported that the Serie A side are keen on retaining his services and now, it's added that the player has made a decision on his future.

Milan and Dalot are now said to be 'waiting' on United's verdict.

United 'handed boost' in possible Kinglsey Coman move

United and Chelsea have received a boost as Kingsley Coman has informed Bayern Munich of his desire to leave, Sky Sports state.

Tied down with the Bavarian side until 2023, the Bundesliga champions are keen on extending his deal but the France international is said to have snubbed a new contract.

Instead, it's indicated he is targeting a move to the Premier League, where United and Chelsea have regularly been touted for his services.

Harry Maguire reveals what United make of England involvement ahead of injury return

Harry Maguire has declared himself fit and insisted he is available to be selected when England face fierce rivals Scotland in the European Championship on Friday.

The Manchester United captain has played any football in well over a month after injuring himself in a match against Aston Villa on May 9.

Maguire, 28, missed the remainder of United's season as a result and had to watch on as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side lost to Villarreal in the Europa League final three weeks ago.

Harry Maguire could return to action on Friday night

Donny van de Beek 'open' to Barcelona transfer

Donny van de Beek would be happy to join Barcelona this summer, according to Sport in Spain.

They say the Dutchman's representatives have made it clear he could be ‘seduced’ by a move to the Nou Camp, even if it only a loan deal.

It also suggests Van de Beek is unhappy with his current situation at Old Trafford and wants a resolution this summer.

Van de Beek's first season at United was underwhelming.

Manchester United stance on Jesse Lingard future

Jesse Lingard is not expected to hold talks on his Manchester United future until he returns for pre-season training next month.

Lingard, 28, is approaching the final year of his contract and earlier this year thrived during a four-month loan with West Ham, where he scored nine goals in 16 games.

United have received interest in Lingard, who only played three times for his parent club last season and failed to appear in the Premier League before the mid-season switch to West Ham.

Lingard made the matchday squad in just nine of United's last 33 league games he was available for and the club is working on a deal to sign winger Jadon Sancho this summer.

Lingard is set to make a decision on his future.
