VIDEO Kyle Walker Manchester City defender has been banned for next three Champions League games
It has been announced that, Manchester City shall be with out the services of pacey right-back Kyle Walker for their next three Champions League games.
UEFA announced on Friday, that Walker had been on an additional three-game ban on report of the straight red card he was substantiated throughout Man City’s game vs RB Leipzig.
Walker misplaced his cool in the course of the last 10 minutes of match day six of the Champions League group stage and boldly lashed out by kicking Leipzig playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 31-year-old was thereafter sent off for violent behavior.
The ban means he will not be among for Manchester City’s games within the round of sixteen vs Sporting Lisbon for the first leg of the quarter-final ought to achieve more progress. If not he’ll forfeit the next game City play in a European competitors.
