Jules Kounde, a Sevilla forward, is being pursued by a number of European clubs.
The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Chelsea, according to Fichajes, are all interested in signing Kounde, with Real Madrid reportedly being the favorite to sign him.
The French defender is beginning to make a name for himself at Sevilla, and despite the fact that he is only 23 years old, clubs are starting to recognize the potential he possesses.
According to The Sun, Chelsea had previously agreed to a deal to sign Kounde, but the deal ultimately fell through. Without any of the three out of contract this summer, Thomas Tuchel will be looking for a replacement for the trio if they don’t sign new contracts.
The Nigerian international is said to be furious at the failure of a deal, so it is not surprising that Kounde wishes to join the London club this summer. If Kounde decides to stay in Spain, a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona would make sense, but a move to Liverpool would be a mistake for the Frenchman, according to reports.
It is likely that Kounde will struggle to find a starting position in Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team, given the presence of Virgil Van-Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, and Joe Gomez as first-team centre-backs. Konate joined Liverpool in the summer and has found it difficult to get into the team’s lineup.
