According to reports, Manchester United are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Sport Witness has translated a report from the print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport that mentions the Serbia international as a possible target for Manchester United as well as Paris Saint-Germain.
The source goes on to say that clubs can sign Milinkovic-Savic for between €70 and €80 million this summer, but that he may have given a signal about his future during a recent family trip to Paris, which drew some attention.
United, on the other hand, will aim to be in the running for Milinkovic-Savic as well, given the fact that the Red Devils are expected to be in need of a midfield revamp this summer.
While Paul Pogba is about to become a free agent, there are serious questions regarding the form of Fred and Scott McTominay, and Donny van de Beek’s future at Manchester United appears to be in doubt after being loaned out to Everton after rarely appearing at Old Trafford this season.
According to the report, PSG are interested in getting Paul Pogba on a free transfer, and it’s possible that they may prioritize signing the Frenchman rather than concentrating on beating Manchester United to Milinkovic-Savic.
