The current PL star is in the same class as Gerrard, Lampard, and Scholes, says ex-Man Utd ace David Beckham

Luke Chadwick, a former Manchester United midfielder, thinks Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne is already on par with Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and Paul Scholes, the three greatest Premier League midfielders of all time.

The Belgian midfield maestro has become somewhat of a legend at the Etihad Stadium in recent years, playing a major role in several of the club’s most successful teams thanks to his outstanding passing ability and the occasional spectacular goal.

For Chadwick, De Bruyne is one of the best midfielders in Premier League history, and he believes we can already begin to talk about him as such.

Following his performance against Manchester United at the weekend, Chadwick believes it’s time for De Bruyne to be included in that category as well. Most fans would probably agree that it’s between Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and Paul Scholes for that honor, and Chadwick believes it’s time for him to be included as well.

According to Chadwick, “If you look at everything he’s won with Manchester City, he’s obviously up there with the likes of Scholes, Gerrard, and Lampard.” “He (Kevin De Bruyne) is already up there,” Chadwick said, according to CaughtOffside.

“Obviously he hasn’t won the Champions League yet, but it’s been a long road for him after struggling to make an impact at Chelsea, before moving to Germany and then returning to England.

His performance for Manchester City has been outstanding. In addition to having one of the top technical abilities in the Premier League, he exudes a certain aura.

In the Manchester Derby this past weekend, he was very impressive, which contributed to the significant disparity between the two teams.
