'Welcome to Man United' issue Chelsea FC sanctioned Antonio Rudiger plea.

Antonio Rudiger is a desired summer target for Manchester United fans.
Following the revelation that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been subjected to stringent UK sanctions, Manchester United fans are begging with the club to purchase Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

Britain has been gradually tightening down on Russians with assets in the UK following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine two weeks ago………. So Abramovich, who put Chelsea on the market last week, is currently unable to sell the club because of fines that have been handed down to him by the FA.

With Chelsea no longer able to sell tickets, the fines levied on Abramovich will have a devastating effect on the club and its fans. Only season ticket holders are permitted to attend games, and Chelsea are prohibited from selling products, contract extensions to players, or signing and selling new players for profit.

The signing of new contracts will not be permitted for Chelsea’s out-of-contract stars, such as Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, and Antonio Rudiger, whose contracts expire at the end of June. As a result, Chelsea’s defense would be severely depleted in terms of personnel.

Since Rudiger’s resurgence at Stamford Bridge under head coach Thomas Tuchel over the past year or so, the Blues have been attempting to secure a new contract for him in recent months. However, they have been unable to make any headway, and Manchester United have been linked with his signature.

According to the tweets displayed above, United fans are desperate to acquire Rudiger on a free transfer in the summer. Having joined the club in 2017, the German has made nearly 200 appearances for the Blues during his time in England.

Rudiger has until May 31 to sign a new contract if the sanctions against Abramovich are not extended, so he could still do so if they are. However, in a rapidly changing environment, it is impossible to predict what will transpire in the coming weeks and months, let alone years.
